Don’t Touch My Trigger (AKA Trigger) is a VERY Stocky Built 16.0hh, 5 yr old, Golden Buckskin Gelding!!! He is registered TWHBEA and has an excellent pedigree that includes, Prides Grey John, Mack K’s Handshaker, Midnight Sun, Another Grey John, Prides Generator, The Touch, and Trip My Trigger. I bought Trigger when he was a 2 ½ years old and put the finishing touches on him. I kept him for a few months while doing so and he impressed me every time that I rode him. He had a super sharp mind and learned so quickly without any resistance at all. I put him on my website and quickly sold him in a couple days to a lady in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the last 2 years she kept in contact with me always sending me updates on how great Trigger was and thanking me for picking him out for her sense she didn’t have time to come see him before she bought him. She has told me many times that she thought Trigger was the only Perfect horse in the world and that he was the only totally bombproof horse that she has ever saw! She always got compliments on him about how pretty he was and how well behaved that he was, even back when he was a 3 year old. She told me that Trigger was a TRUE ladies horse and he was her best friend, she spent a lot of hours with him and she also trail rode him many miles. Nothing could split up this duo… except one thing, the love of a mother??? Her kids now being big enough to start riding had been wanting a pony so that they could learn to ride like mommy. The kids saw a smaller pony named Blues Clues on my website and wanted him so bad… But the only problem was that no one could afford 2 board bills at the facility where Trigger was staying. With the economy being bad there wasn’t a lot of extra money lying around either… So what would a good mother do? Sacrifice her dream horse for her kids, in order for their dream to come true! So she called me up and we worked out a trade, she still misses Trigger but has few regrets as Blue is doing awesome with the kids and it is for sure one happy family headed up by one wonderful mom! Trigger is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Trigger is gentle and safe for most any beginner to ride. Trigger has a very smooth and natural runwalking gait where he will nod his head and has has a nice canter. He moves out easily but will always walk slow. Trigger has had 4 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it. No matter where he goes or what he does, Trigger is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Trigger has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
