About our SADDLES:

These saddles are all HANDMADE right here in the USA by an Amish craftsman who worked and learned how to build saddles under some of the most respected amish saddle builders in the business. These saddles are top of the line all the way, built on a Ralide semi width bar tree, using Wickett and Craig Leather, with Stainless Steel hardware,Texas Star Conchos, Aluminum Stirrups, a cushy memory foam padding under the Amish's signature Glove Leather seat. You also get your choice of tooling patterns, either Barbed Wire or Diamond. These saddles have a nice slope to the seat that keeps you set back in comfort against a 5" Cantle. The fenders are set forward but can hang straight or set back depending on how the rider is setting and they come with a pre set twist to help eliminate ankle strain. The stirrups are polished aluminum, measuring 5" across so that even a wide crepe sole boots will fit. They are also a "Low Profile" design to eliminate the danger of a foot going through them. These saddles come with both billets, have plenty of tie straps for your saddle bags or rain coats, they have a crupper D in the back and a D on each side for your breast collar. These saddles are double skirted and weigh approx. 25.5lbs.

It doesn't make sense to me to try to sell a product that you don't use yourself, right? Well, I have been using one of these saddles for over 4 months now, I have oiled it a couple times and it was easy to break in and is a very tough saddle! It has stood up to the rough and constant use that a saddle will get here at Adams Horse and Mule Co. and I have nothing but good things to say about it!  Everything about these saddles is designed with the horse and rider in mind! With most of our horses having a wider built body type, these saddles fit better than most so called "gaited horse" saddles, that are always too narrow for the full bodied horses, like we mostly sell. I have been really impressed with these saddles and I am sure that you will too! These saddles are built as good as any saddle that you will find! With any leather saddle their can be highlights and darker spots in the leather, with shipping any saddle can get some light surface scratches on them and new leather will squeek, so do expect these things. If you have any questions feel free to email those to me.
