Rock of Ages (AKA Rock) is a very stocky built, 16.0hh, coming 10 yr old, Sorrel Gelding. He is a registered Pleasure Saddle Horse and has a good pedigree. Rock came from an older gentleman who had owned Rock sense he was a colt. He said he had trail ridden him lots of miles and his grandkids had also ridden him around the farm as well as on some trails. Rock has been on camping trips and ridden in multiple states including, Tn, WV, VA, and KY. This gentleman said that his health and his mind was failing him and that he would rather sell Rock now so that he could choose who that he sold him too. Rock is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in anyway. Rock is gentle and safe for most beginners to ride. He will flatfoot walk or he will move on out when asked. He has a natural runwalking gait and a smooth racking gait as well! Rock has had 1 month of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Rock is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Rock has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. Solid as a Rock!!!
