Ranger Walker (AKA Ranger) is a Stocky Built, 15.2hh, 6 yr old, Sorrel Sabino Gelding with lots of chrome!!! He has a long, thick mane and tail, is certified KNGHA and has an excellent pedigree! Ranger came from a local man who raised him. Ranger has been trail ridden many miles throughout the outskirts of a larger city close by and he has been camping and trail ridden in many states including KY, TN, VA, WV, IN, IL, and OH. He is a trail horse deluxe with plenty of miles of experience! He neck reins very well, backs, and has a decent canter to go along with an excellent gait! He has a nice runwalk and a smooth rack, up to about 11mph. He will also flatfoot walk on a loose rein. Ranger is gentle and safe for a confident beginner to ride although some beginners will love his pushbutton training. Ranger has had 1 month of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Ranger is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Ranger has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
