Price: $6,500
Phantom by JFK (AKA Phantom) is a very stocky built,
16hh, 5 yr old, Grey Roan Sabino, Gelding with Chrome
ALL
OVER! He is registered TWHBEA and has an excellent
pedigree that includes: Midnight Sun, Suns Delight D.,
Pride of Midnight HF, Triple Threat, Prides Hallelujah,
Ebonys Countdown, and JFK. Phantom was my personal
Trail and Show horse for the 2008 show season. I had
him on numerous trail rides throughout
Kentucky, and at lots of shows. He was shown in Country
Pleasure and Trail Pleasure classes, winning 12 blue
ribbons, never placing below 3rd while making
17 appearances in
Kentucky
and Tennessee. I sold Phantom after the 2008 show
season to a doctor in Ohio. He trail rode and showed
Phantom for the 2009 show season and always received a
ribbon. He has always been shown totally sound, been
trained with natural methods and NEVER enhanced! Phantom
has a smooth and natural runwalking gait where he will
Shake his Head EVERY step that he takes!!! He strides
out and moves like a true walking horse should. He is
easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in
anyway. Phantom is safe for most any beginner to ride.
Phantom will flatfoot walk on a loose rein as long as
you want or he can move on out if you ask. He will go
from gaiting to a flatfoot walk on command. This is the
ultimate show/trail combo horse!!! 1 horse that takes
care of 2 jobs!!! He is a horse that handles anything
that comes his way! He has seen everything from heavy
equipment on construction sites, kids in strollers,
balloons, to banners blowing in the wind. He has a very
patient demeanor, he has stood tied at shows for hours
and hours and he is also quiet in the crossties. He
listens to his riders verbal cues, a soft whisper of
easy and he will slow down and a sharp whoa and he will
stop anytime I ask. He is always the same horse whether
ridden everyday or once a month. On trails you couldn’t
ask for a better horse! He will absolutely take care of
his rider! I have had Phantom out on trails that most
deer wouldn’t even attempt… ruff, rocky, and severally
steep. Places where your breast color will stretch the
notches, and down slopes where you think you would tip
over his head. Phantom will climb up one side of the
mountain and slide back down the other. He always takes
his time and is in no hurry, he never gets hyper when
put in tight situations and if he gets hung up in
something such as a grapevine or barbed wire, he won’t
move a muscle while you work to untangle him. He has a
lot of trail sense when it comes to picking the safest
path, and he is very sure footed on slick, jagged rocks,
or when riding horizontal on steep vertical slopes.
Phantom has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such
as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and
will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode
many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and
Tennessee and encountered every obstacle possible on the
trail. Phantom has had 8 months of professional gaiting,
trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around
farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has
also had guns shot off of his back. Just like
everything we say about our horses, we have the videos
to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our
website. No matter where he goes or what he does,
Phantom is not spooky acting. He has been rode in
traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi,
log, and dump trucks. He has a great attitude about
whatever he is asked to do and is always willing. Trail
ride him Monday through Friday and hit the show ring on
Saturday! Whether it is trail riding or showing, here is
one of the best! Feel free to call me with any
questions.
