Gunsmoke’s All Color (AKA Gunsmoke) is a stocky built, 15.1hh, 5 yr old, Buckskin/White Tobiano Gelding. He is a registered pleasure saddle horse and has a good pedigree.  We bought this horse from an older gentleman that we know in West Virginia who has bred, raised and broke horses his entire life. Gunsmoke has made his home for most of his life at “Third and Plum”… If you don’t know redneck talk, that means that he lived up the “Third Hollar” and “Plum” to the end of it.  Gunsmoke has been stuck back up in the hollow, and is a real country horse but those kind are generally the best trail horses that we will have and Gunsmoke is no exception. He came right off of the farm where he was born and he has been ridden virtually over every square foot of his home and surrounding counties. He has been on several week long camping trips to multiple states. Gunsmoke is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Gunsmoke is safe for most beginners to ride and is as laid back on the trails as any horse that we have. He will flatfoot walk on a loose rein or move on out if asked. He has a natural runwalking gait and a very smooth Racking gait! He does neckrein and will lope. Gunsmoke has had 2 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. On the trails Gunsmoke is always great and never spooky acting! Gunsmoke has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.  Something this good don’t come around very often!!! Feel free to call me with any questions.
