Warrior Chief Joseph (AKA Joe) is a stocky built, 15.2hh, 4 yr old, Red/White Spotted Gelding. He is a registered Pleasure Saddle Horse and has a good pedigree.  A friend of mine started Joe as a 2 year old; Joe impressed everyone as he learned quickly and mastered everything on trails.  He sold Joe to an older couple and for the past year and a half Joe has been trail ridden by a lady in her early 70’s.  They have trail rode together in a couple different places in Missouri, Illinois, South and East Fork Camps in Tennessee, several rides in Kentucky, and 2 trips to Virginia.  This lady said that Joe would last her for the rest of her riding years.  But sadly as life does sometimes, it threw a curve and this lady was diagnosed with cancer.  As a couple they decided to retire from riding and Joe came to us.  Joe is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle.  Joe is gentle and safe for any beginners to ride. He will flatfoot walk slowly on a loose rein or move on out when asked. He has a natural runwalking gait and a nice Racking up to 10mph!!! Joe has had 1 month of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Joe not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Joe has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.  The Chief will protect you!!! Feel free to call me with any questions.
