4-Leaf Clover (AKA Clover) is a 15hh, 12 yr old, Black/White Tobiano Gelding. He is a registered Pleasure Saddle Horse and has a good pedigree. Clover has made his home in Mississippi and has been ridden by a very small lady who was just over 5 foot tall. She has trail rode Clover as well as rode him with her husband when he was squirrel and wild hig hunting. Alone, small or big crowds, gun fire, horses running by… Clover was always the perfect horse except one simple thing… he was too tall and this lady was having severe knee issues and she came to depend on others for help when mounting… her solution instead of quitting riding was to get a much smaller horse! 13hh to be exact, she could get on her “pony” with out assistance because the strain was much less on her knee. Clover is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. Clover has been rode throughout Mississippi and been camping in several states. Clover is safe for any beginner to ride and will help build your confidence levels. He likes to flatfoot walk but moves out easily in a nice natural runwalking gait that is very smooth! Clover has had 2 months of professional gaiting, trail and bombproof training. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back. Just like everything we say about our horses, we have the videos to prove it, make sure to take a look at those on our website. No matter where he goes or what he does, Clover is not spooky acting. On the trails he is always great! Clover has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do. He is your lucky charm!!! Feel free to call me with any questions.
